LEADERSHIP SESSIONS

The following Leadership Sessions have been designed to…

> Only cover ONE KEY LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLE per session so that the material can be easily applied to each leader’s life.
> Run for a minimum of 30 minutes (with the option of going longer if time is available)
> Be used in a variety of settings (see below)

Settings where these Leadership Sessions could be used…

OPTION A – ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING
Step #1 – Both people do the Pre-Reading
Step #2 – Both people download the Handout and work through it during the session.

OPTION B – SMALL GROUP SESSION WITH COMPULSORY PRE-READING
Step #1 – Every person in the small group does the Pre-Reading
Step #2 – Every person downloads the Handout and works through it during the session.

OPTION C – SMALL GROUP SESSION WITH VOLUNTARY PRE-READING
Step #1 – The Facilitator downloads the Pre-Reading, Facilitators Guide and PowerPoint and prepares a 10 min teaching segment. This segment will be run during the session.
Step #2 – Everyone else is encouraged to do the Pre-Reading. But it’s made clear that this is not essential.
Step #3 – Every person downloads the Handout and works through it during the session.

OPTION D – LARGE GROUP SESSION WITH VOLUNTARY PRE-READING
Step #1 – The Facilitator downloads the Pre-Reading, Facilitators Guide and PowerPoint and prepares a 10 min teaching segment. This segment will be run during the session.
Step #2 – Everyone else is encouraged to do the Pre-Reading. But it’s made clear that this is not essential.
Step #3 – Every person downloads the Handout and works through it during the session. Obviously the large group will need to break up into smaller groups during the discussion times.
